Mildred M. "Millie" Cehelsky, 95, of East Butler passed away Saturday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born on May 4, 1918, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Edward G. McCandless and Mayme (Baker) McCandless.
Millie was a member of the Tanglewood Center and AARP. She was a talented seamstress who liked to play cards and mostly loved being with her family.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. George (Carol) Pry of Butler; her five grandchildren, Dennis (Lisa) Pry, Timothy (Amy) Pry, Jason (Deann) Pry, David (Heidi) So, and Tracy (Bill) Boice, and her 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank G. Cehelsky, who she married on Dec. 27, 1938, and who passed away on June 4, 1987; her daughter, Esther So, and her two sisters and three brothers as she was the youngest of six children.
Cehelsky- The friends of Mildred M. "Millie" Cehelsky, who passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Harry Bielewicz and the Rev. Charles Baptiste officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Parish Cemetery.
