Mildred B. Robinson, 92, passed away peacefully on April 19 in Green Bay, Wis.
She was born on Jan. 29, 1922, in Zelienople to the late William and Amelia (Miller) Bloom.
Mildred married Richard Robinson, and they celebrated almost 50 years of marriage before his passing on Sept. 29, 1991.
Mildred was an accomplished quilter and made more than 100 appliqué and patch quilts, receiving awards for several. She had interests in interior decorating and drawing, gardening, flowers, cooking, and baking, as well as her family.
She is survived by her son, Jeffry Robinson of Destin, Fla.; her daughter, Marcia (Paul) McCollum of Green Bay, Wis.; her grandchildren, Julie (Roger) Brauser of Evansville, Ind, Gregory (Ashley) Robinson of Santa Claus, Ind., and James (Hannah) McCollum of Manitowoc, Wis.; her cousin, Elnora "Norrie" Freshcorn of Fombell, and nieces and nephews.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; four brothers and three sisters.
Robinson- The family and friends of Mildred B. Robinson, who passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014, are invited to attend a graveside memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Zelienople, with the Rev. Wilfred Goetze officiating.
