Evelyn Stover Ehrman-Casey, 86, of Zelienople passed away Wednesday at Cranberry Place.
Born on Oct. 28, 1927, in Victoria Mines, Butler, she was the daughter of the late Paul Byron and Ethel (Dobbs) Stover.
Evelyn was a 1945 graduate of Butler High School and a member of the St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople.
She retired from the Newstand in Zelienople in 1991. Evelyn previously worked for Fishburn's Pharmacy, Zelienople Office Equipment, Casey's Bakery and at the junior high school cafeteria.
She is survived by her children, Bradley Ehrman of Cranberry Township and Jan Bach and her husband, Douglas, of Fombell; her stepchildren, Robert Casey and his wife, Trudy, of Pittsburgh, Deborah Lynn Miller of Portersville, Diane Takakjy and her husband, David, of Cranberry Township, Judith Polichio and her husband, Richard, of Espyville, Natalie Eichler and her husband, David, of Ross Township, Dorothy Casey and her husband, John Goehring, of Cranberry Township and Richard Casey and his wife, Denise, of Conway; her three sisters, Patricia McCafferty of Butler, Mary Lee Marten of Butler and Susan Lehman of Jupiter, Fla.; her six grandchildren; her 13 great-grandchildren; her six step-grandchildren; and her nine step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 53 years, John Edwin Ehrman, who passed away on March 15, 2001; her second husband, William F. Casey, who passed away on March 28, 2014; her brother, Thomas Stover; and her daughter-in-law, Debbie McGoff Ehrman.
Ehrman-Casey - The family of Evelyn Stover Ehrman-Casey, who passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
A funeral ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. James R. Bertoti officiating. Evelyn will be laid to rest at the Evans City Cemetery.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
