Virginia Pearl Wheeler Lang, 91, of Butler passed away at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

She was born on Aug. 28, 1922, in Butler, to the late Arthur S. Huselton and Eulallia M. (Allen) Huselton.
Mrs. Lang was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church.
She was a licensed practical nurse, doing private duty in the Butler area, retiring in 1983.
Mrs. Lang enjoyed camping, traveling, nature and telling stories. She was a longtime volunteer at the Tanglewood Center.
Mrs. Lang is survived by her three sons, Glenn A. "Bud" Wheeler Jr. and his wife, Jean, of Butler, Gary A. Wheeler and his wife, Kathy, of Butler and Gordon A. Wheeler and his wife, Paula, of Charleston, S.C.; her five grandchildren; her 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn A. Wheeler Sr., who she married on Dec. 18. 1940, and who passed away on Jan. 2, 1992, and by her second husband, Paul F. Lang, who she married in April 2001 and who passed away on Aug. 11, 2001; her two brothers, Raymond and Ronald; and her four sisters, June, Shirley, Verla and Gayle.
Lang - The friends of Virginia Pearl Wheeler Lang, who passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014, will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday.
Funeral services will follow immediately at 7 p.m. with the Pastor Barry J. Keurulainen of the St. Luke Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will take place in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Luke Lutheran Church, 330 Hannahstown Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
