R. Noriene Schuetz, 72, of Valencia passed away unexpectedly Monday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born Aug. 1, 1941, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Patrick and Rita (McGrath) Keohane.
Noriene grew up in the Oakland area and was a graduate of St. Paul Cathedral High School. She began her career at Industrial Rubber Products and retired in the late 1970s to begin her second career as owner of Porkey's Smokehouse.
Noriene was an active member of Holy Sepulcher Parish.
She enjoyed traveling, especially her three trips to Ireland to visit family.
Noriene was a beloved aunt who loved helping and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed her weekly get-togethers with her friends, the "Friday Nighters."
Surviving are her sister, Eileen Schilken (the late Robert E. Sr.) of Pittsburgh; her four nephews, Dr. Robert E. (Dolores) Schilken of Mount Lebanon, Michael Scuticchio of Butler, Frank (Karen) Scuticchio of Butler, and Scott (Debbie) Schuetz of Virginia; her nieces, Lisa Lannes and Chris Burbach, both of Virginia; her many great-nieces and nephews, and her close cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren H. Schuetz; her sister, Kathleen Scuticchio; and her niece, Eileen P. Windsor.
Schuetz - The friends of R. Noriene Schuetz, who passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Sepulcher Catholic Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, Butler.
