Bertha Floyd Knox, 81, of Sarver passed away Friday at Fair Winds Manor.
Born on June 10, 1933, in Lexington, Mich., she was the daughter of Newton Emsley Rainey and Margarette (Rollin) Rainey.
She worked as a harvester for Moonlight Mushrooms.
Bertha enjoyed crocheting, dancing, joking around and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her daughters, Patricia and Lisa; her guardians, Cheryl Shuler and Jennifer Tomanio; her sister, Ora Pirkle; her three sisters-in-law; her brother-in-law; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Floyd; first husband, Junior Floyd; her second husband, Earl Knox, and her numerous siblings.
Knox- The friends of Bertha Floyd Knox, who passed away Friday, July 18, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
