Robert Allen Remaley, 72, of Saxonburg passed away Friday at the West Penn Hospital.
Born July 21, 1942, in Glassport he was the son of the late Lawrence H. and Elizabeth F. (Finney) Remaley of Harmony.
He grew up in Middle Lancaster, Butler County. He graduated from Geneva College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Education. Robert retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare Division of Children, Youth and Families. He was a member of the Geneva College Alumni Association and the University of Pittsburgh Alumni Association. Robert's hobbies included gardening and mowing his 5 acres.
Surviving are his loving wife of 45 years, Joan (Molocznik) Remaley; his brother, Richard Remaley and his wife, Suzanne, of New Castle; his sister-in-law, Lorraine Skomo and her husband, David, of Butler; his brother-in-law, Thomas Molocznik of Murrysville; his niece, Beth Remaley of New Castle; his niece, Laura McCormick and her husband, Patrick, of Niles, Ohio; his niece, Tammy Duffee and her husband, Shawn, of New Castle; his nephwe, David Remaley and his wife, Christal, of New Castle; his nephew, David Skomo and his wife, Monica, of Cranberry Township; his nephew, Darin Skomo of Zelienople; his special cousin, David Finney and his wife, Pamela, of Cabot; his father-in-law, Michael Molocznik of Murrysville; and many special friends.
REMALEY - Friends of Robert Allen Remaley. who died Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, will be received Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
Additional visitation will be held on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's of Czestochowa Cemetery, Lower Burrell.
