Angelo Marcucci, 58, of Butler passed away Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
Born on Aug. 22, 1956, in Medina, Ohio, he was a son of the late Dorothy Hutchinson Marcucci.
He was employed by the Office of Personnel Management Retirement Operation Center as a customer service representative for one year. He previously worked for Spang Magnetics for 28 years until its closing.
He enjoyed camping and fishing, traveling with his family and especially playing with his grandchildren.
He was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Butler.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Surviving are his wife, Debbie Miller Marcucci, who he married on June 12, 1993; his three sons, Anthony (Mariah) Marcucci of North Carolina, Michael Marcucci and Jason (Julia) Clark of Butler; his four grandsons and granddaughter; his two sisters, Sophie (John) Ryan of East Butler and Mary Ann (Bob) Losser of Butler; his two brothers, Rich (Cindy) Marcucci of Butler and Nick (Kathleen) Marcucci of Washington; and his numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one sister; one brother; and his father-in-law.
Marcucci - The friends of Angelo Marcucci, who passed away Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 420 N. Main St., Butler, with the Rev. Dan Ledford officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Herman.
