Harry A. Esler
Harry A. Esler, 75, of 111 Cobham Lane, Cabot, Winfield Township, died unexpectedly at noon Tuesday at his home.
Born July 11, 1934, in Harrison Township, Allegheny County, he was a son of the late Arthur Esler and Consuelo (Walters) Esler.
He was a resident of Winfield Township for the past 35 years, where he was the owner/operator of Esler Enterprises, an EDM, electrical discharge machine distributor. He also was a tool and die maker for Oberg Industries, Buffalo Township, for a number of years.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was of the Protestant faith and a member of Pollock Lodge, Tarentum.
He graduated from Tarentum High School in 1952.
Mr. Esler enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, bowling and skeet shooting.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Constance "Connie" (Terriito) Esler; a daughter, Dianne M. Zier of Buffalo Township; sons, Daniel A. (Linda) Esler of Saegertown, Pa., and Darren S. (Kelly) Esler of Meadville; grandchildren, Nikolaus, Evan, Arthur, Hanna, Amanda and Cassie; and sisters, Mary Ellen Brenkacz of Joliet, Ill., and Julie (Richard) Salvatore of Hyannis Port, Mass.
ESLER - Relatives and friends of Harry A. Esler, who died Tuesday, March 23, 2010, will be received from 4 until the time of service at 7 p.m. Friday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC., 10th Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home by the Rev. Robert B. Walker, pastor First Baptist Church, Tarentum. Burial will be private.
