Frederick Eggleton
Frederick D. Eggleton, 55, of Butler died Monday morning at UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born Oct. 3, 1955, in Louisville, Ky., he was a son of the late Patricia (Pike) Keister.
He had been a truck driver for the Marburger Dairy for the past 16 years, and before that, he was the manager for Pizza Hut on West Cunningham Street in Butler.
Fred was a former member of the Jaycees, was an avid bowler, golfer, NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandson.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann (Nelson) Eggleton, whom he married Dec. 2, 1979; a son, Frederick D. Eggleton II and his fiancee, Patricia Wise, of Butler; a grandson, Derrick R. Eggleton; two brothers and their wives, David and Renee Eggleton of Strattanville and Brian and Tera Keister of North Aurora, Ill.; four sisters and their spouses, Gennie and John Gerow of Shelbyville, Ky., Wendy and Rick Glenn of Andover, N.Y., Rhonda and Kevin Ferguson of Rochester and Lisa Smith and Laurie Faber of Brookville; and several nieces, nephews great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Keister, and his stepfather, Guy Keister.
Eggleton - Friends of Frederick D. Eggleton, who died Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Kevin Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in the North Side Cemetery in Butler.

To Fred's family. You have my deepest sympathy at Fred's passing. I have known Fred for about eight years now while working at convience stores. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He will be missed by all the people he was so kind to while making his deliveries.

To Freds family and wife. I had the pleasure of knowing Fred since Pizza hut many years ago. He was one of the nicest people I ever met. Always thankful and appreciative when i worked on the equipment there.Never did i hear a complaint from him...just smiles and an excellent work ethic.Im truly sorry for your loss.
