William 'Bill' Thomas Henderson
William "Bill" Thomas Henderson, 74, of Butler passed away at 10:56 p.m. Saturday in the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
He was born June 6, 1937, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Raymond Thomas Henderson and Martha Louise (Bailey) Henderson.
Mr. Henderson was a supervisor at the Castle Rubber Co. in East Butler.
He was a Protestant.
Mr. Henderson was a member of the Butler Area Radio Flying Society and also the Butler Area Model Society.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Henderson enjoyed fishing, model airplanes and bowling.
Mr. Henderson is survived by his loving spouse, Sandra, who he married Nov. 30, 1963; one daughter, Deborah J. and her husband, Michael Scott Abbot, of Butler; one granddaughter, Tina M. Abbott; and one grandson, Shane M. Abbott.
HENDERSON - In accordance with the wishes of William "Bill" Thomas Henderson, who died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, there will be no public visitation. Blessing services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, with the Rev. Father James Dolan of the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the of Western Pennsylvania, 10 Duff Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15235 or to the VNA Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.
