Mildred Stepp Obituary

Mildred M. Stepp
Mildred M. Stepp, 95, of Butler died Tuesday night at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Butler, Oct. 25, 1915, a daughter of the late Frank and Edith Covert Rivers.
Mrs. Stepp had been a drapery seamstress and had worked for Troutman's department store in Butler for more than 15 years and later worked out of her home.
She was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church in Butler.
Mildred was the widow of Arthur R. Stepp, who she married Dec. 3, 1935. Arthur died Oct. 14, 1998. She also was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, two brothers and a sister.
Surviving are two sons, James A. Stepp of Cranberry Township and Wesley F. Stepp of Butler; a sister, Ruth Snyder of Butler; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
STEPP - Friends of Mildred M. Stepp, who died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, will be received at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Saturday at the St. Paul Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
The St. Paul Catholic Women's Group will recite the rosary at 9:40 a.m. Saturday at the church.
