Glenn A. McKinnis
Glenn A. McKinnis, 87, of Butler passed away Friday morning at his home.
Born in Prospect on Sept. 4, 1924, he was the son of the late Ira D. and Marie E. Davison McKinnis.
He was a member of the Middlesex Presbyterian Church, where he served as a deacon. He retired from Armco on June 30, 1986. He was a member of the MORA Luncheon Club.
Mr. McKinnis served as a gunner's mate in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine Jones McKinnis, on Aug. 25, 2005, and two sisters.
He is survived by one daughter, Donna Warren of Butler; one son, Richard (Wendy) McKinnis of Leeper, Pa.; two sisters, Anna Farnelli of Prospect and Nancy Gilland of Butler; three granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
MCKINNIS - A memorial service for Glenn A. McKinnis, who died Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Middlesex Presbyterian Church.
Donations in memory of Glenn A. McKinnis may be made to the Middlesex Presbyterian Church, 116 Church Road, Butler, PA 16002.
