Jeffrey A. Bergbigler, 54, of Butler passed away Oct. 14 at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born on March 27, 1959, in Butler, the son of the late Grace Bergbigler.
He was a truck driver for Wiest Paving.
He was an avid hunter and sportsman. He loved going to camp and had a green thumb with every plant he touched. Another hobby was cooking.
He was a member of the Roman Catholic Men's Club in Herman, the Summit Township Sportsman Club of Herman, the American Legion Post 117 of Butler, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 469 of Ridgeway, the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Ridgeway, and the Veterans Club of Marienville. His favorite pastime was being a past officer of the Butler Moose Lodge 64.
Surviving are his wife, Rose M. (Graham) Bergbigler of Butler; his three daughters, Jennifer A. Bergbigler and Michelle D. Rausch, both of Butler, and Misty Booher of Fenelton; his son, Jason D. Claypoole of Hilliards; his nine grandchildren; his two brothers, Robert Osche of Lyndora and Thomas Bergbigler of Lyndora, and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Bergbigler.
Bergbigler - A gathering of the friends and family of Jeffrey A. Bergbigler, who died Monday, Oct. 14, 2014, will be at the Butler Moose Lodge 64, 225 W. Jefferson St., Butler, at 1 p.m. Saturday. The burial will be private.
