George was our senior high school assistant football coach and worked with Coach Marty Lundmark at CCI in 1960. He was a terrific coach and a great guy with his impressive Georgia football background. We had an excellent season with Kris Schmidt winning the Harry Hood Trophy and I still remember the team party after the season. RIP George and thanks for everything. We all thought you were wonderful.

Our sincere condolences to George's family. Our family had the pleasure of meeting George and Jeanine when our dad, Jim Duncan, was with the Stampeders. George had a giant heart, a great sense of humor, a down-to-earth and compassionate presence, and was always a pleasure to be around. He was fabulous at keeping in touch and was a true gentleman. We were proud to have had the good fortune to know him and call him our friend. We will cherish his memory as I know you will.
