It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Agnese M. Morandi on Sunday, November 11, 2012. Born on May 18, 1929 in Malonno, Italy, she was one of eleven brothers and sisters. Agnese came to Canada in 1956 with her husband Alfonso and eventually settled in Calgary in 1958. To her family and friends, she was a beloved friend, confidante, and an exceptional Nonna, Zia, and sister. Agnese was an incredible baker, especially her apple pies and always had a beautiful garden. She will be greatly missed. Agnese leaves to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her two children, Larry (Marg) and Lora (Vern); four grandchildren, Breanna, Kristin, Nikolas, and Roxanna; and her only brother in Canada, Alberto (Sandra); as well as numerous family members in Canada and Italy. Agnese was predeceased by her husband of fifty-five years in December 2010.
