Whenever I breath deeply and smell the air and hear the sounds around me, I remember that you are no longer here to experience that and it makes me realize how precious our time is. RIP Doug.

I had the opportunity to share a hospital room with Doug last summer at TBCC.
During my stay I sensed from
the daily visits how loved Doug was. Daily his Mom called regarding food requests and Claire lifted everyone's
spirits when she walked in the room. Often just getting outside was a highlight in a long day.
In my road with cancer I have learned to savor the little things and Doug was blessed in this
way fully.
Sorry for everyone's loss I hope Doug's spirit is at peace and outdoors!
