MacLEOD, Gladys Stewart (nee Archer)
May 26, 1916 - December 3, 2012
Gladys Stewart MacLeod of Calgary passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, December 3, 2012 at the age of 96 years. Born and raised on Browning Island (Bracebridge), Ontario, Gladys lived also in New Liskeard, Owen Sound and then Toronto, Ontario before locating to Calgary in 2001. Gladys was a former member of the I.O.D.E. (Owen Sound Chapter) and loved curling, bridge and life at the cottage. She will be fondly remembered for her optimistic and determined outlook, her friendships, and her dry and reliable sense of humour. Gladys is survived by her son Jim of Calgary, and daughter Susan and granddaughter Heather both of Charleston, SC. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bruce MacLeod.
