Jack Mostert, beloved husband of Jackie of Calgary, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013 at the age of 69 years. Jack was born in Holland and immigrated to Canada as a young child. He performed geophysical work for the oil and gas industry for many years. He was very passionate about sailing and could be found doing this as often as possible. He loved to bowl and he was fond of following his favorite football team, the Seattle Seahawks! Besides his loving wife Jackie of 45 years, Jack is survived by his daughter, Lee Ann Hoyem (Jeff), sister Ann (Dick) of Sarnia, ON, brother Peter (Betty) of Mont Tremblant, QC; grandchildren, Grant, Nicole, and Jackson. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Dorothy. A private gathering will take place at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the care Jack received from the staff at the Southwood Hospice. In living memory of Jack Mostert, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
