Richard BEARE Obituary
July 2, 1942 – February 27, 2017
Richard (Dick) John Beare passed away quietly in his sleep on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the age of 74 years. He was surrounded by loving family, his wife of 49 years, Helen (Myrna) Beare; daughter, Marina Iris Stewart; son-in-law, Brent Wayne Stewart and his four grandchildren: Kiara Lora Stewart, Nicholas Scott Stewart, Levi Brent Stewart and Aliya Joy Stewart. He is also survived by his son, Richard Scott Beare; his brother, Thomas Dale Beare, his sister-in- law, Barbara Ann Beare; his many nephews and nieces: James Beare (Erin, Nathan, Sarah), Michael Beare (Celeste, Maxwell, Gabriel), Adam Beare (Aurora); as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was predeceased by his parents, John (Jack) Thomas Beare, Lora Margaret Beare and his sister, Sharon Beare. He was well loved by all and his outgoing personality, infectious smile and playful teasing will be sorely missed by so many family and friends alike. A Funeral Service will be held at Eden Brook Funeral Home (17th Avenue and Lower Springbank Rd SW Calgary, Alberta) on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Donations made to the Alberta ALS society in Dick's name would be greatly appreciated by the family. Condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.edenbrookcemetery.ca. Arrangements entrusted to EDEN BROOK FUNERAL HOME AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 24223 Twp Rd 242, Calgary, AB, T3Z 3K2.
