Leona MacEachern, beloved wife of Tom of Calgary, passed away suddenly and tragically on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at the age of 51 years. Leona was a proud 20 year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and worked and travelled extensively through her career which began and ended in Calgary. She also worked several seasons at the Calgary Stampede where she met her husband Tom in 1997. Leona is survived by her husband Tom and daughter Skye. She is also survived by six older siblings and nieces and nephews in Calgary and throughout British Columbia. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W., Calgary, AB) Today, January 6, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. Laurence Anglican Church (5940 Lakeview Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery.
