PERRI, Angela Rosa (nee Scigliano)
April 18, 1937 - December 22, 2012
Angela Perri passed away on December 22, 2012 at the age of 75 years. Angela was born April 18, 1937 in San Giovanni in Fiore, Cosenza, Italy. She married Salvatore Perri on September 8, 1957 and immigrated to Canada in 1960. They established their lives in Calgary, owned and operated a business for over 40 years together. She loved being surrounded by her family and friends who always came first in her heart. Family, food and having everyone together was the single most important things in her life. Angela was a mother to everyone. You could never leave her home without taking something with you. She will remain in our hearts forever and lovingly remembered by her warm smile and open heart. Angela was survived by her family, Luisa and Leo Scarcelli, Giuseppe Perri, Marisa and Robert Larson and Franca Perri; five grandchildren, Luciano and Filomena Scarcelli, Perri Scarcelli, Tyler Perri, Kristiana Perri and Julian Perri; and two great- grandchildren, Angelina and Pietro Scarcelli. She is also survived by two sisters, Rosanna Perri (Ben), Giovanna Brodersen (Jim) and one brother, Emilio Scigliano. Angela was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore in January 2007. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) today, December 27, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 - 14 Avenue N.E.) on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to Saint Anthony of Padua Mission Aid, 1320 Leslie Street, Suite 100, Toronto, Ontario, M3C 2K9. Family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Special Services (Unit 36), Foothills Hospital and her home care aides whom she loved and trusted.
