KINGSFORD _ Annesley Douglas Annesley Douglas Kingsford passed away April 1, 2006 at 93 years of age. He was born in Dublin, Ireland on July 30, 1912. After serving in the Royal Navy World War II, he immigrated to Canada with his wife, Mary Ardern, who predeceased him in 1987. Doug was involved, very successfully, in the oil business for the next forty years in Calgary, Alberta. During this time, he also acquired the OH Ranch located near Longview. He lived a very full life and was a world traveler until his last few months. He will be dearly missed by all his family and fondly remembered by his friends as a sportsman and by his lady-friends as a true gentleman. He passed away peacefully in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia surrounded by his family. A "Wake" was held in Calgary, Alberta on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at the Calgary Golf & Country Club starting at 2:00 p.m. All who knew him are welcome.
