Beverly Ann Lich, of Calgary, peacefully passed away on January 7, 2013 at the age of 70 years. Bev was born on August 29, 1942 in Edmonton, AB. She was one of six children born to Arthur (deceased) and Babe Genest. Beverly was raised on the family farm in Clyde, Alberta and at a young age, married and moved overseas where she experienced all the world could offer. She spent ten years traveling the world establishing new friendships and always enjoyed socializing, painting and bingo. After returning to Calgary, see spent 14 enjoyable years working at S.A.I.T. After her working career was over she spent eight years pursuing her passion for painting, playing bridge and watching her grandchildren grow. She enjoyed years of travelling to Phoenix in the winters and came back to Calgary in the summers. Beverly had a wonderful life. She saw more of the world than most will ever see. Unfortunately Beverly was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at the early age of 60. She has suffered with this autoimmune disease for ten long years. Beverly has been a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to the many people she has met over her lifetime. Beverly we loved you dearly. We will cherish your memory as you will live on in our thoughts and hearts forever. She is survived by her beloved husband and soul- mate of 53 years, Ralph, as well as her two sons Robbin and Miles (Karen), and her grandsons Tyler and Cody. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
