Hi Hume,
You have been in my thoughts and prayers, for a long time now. The love you shared with Carol was so apparent, we never forget the departed, but we do find peace. Godspeed and blessings,

Hume,
I was sad to hear of the passing of your beloved Carol. It brought back fresh and fond memories of our RCIA journey together and it was always a delight for Chris and me to see you both from time to time at Sacred Heart. Although you and Carol had not been able to visit Sacred Heart during her illness you were often in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and your family with his love and comfort. Love and prayers, Karen and Chris <

Carol had one of the gentlest, most honest souls I have ever encountered, so open and loving. She was a gift to her family and her friends.

Mr. Milroy, Chad & Darcy,
Your wife & mom was a wonderful woman. I probably hadn't seen her in over 20 years, and yet, I can still picture her smiling face, and remember how kind she was, and how welcoming when we lived across the street. It is amazing how people can come into our lives, whether for the briefest of moments, or the longest of lifetimes, and leave impressions of warmth, happiness, and fond memories. I am sorry for your loss, and have you all in my prayers.

It was so nice to see Carol during my short visit with you. I enjoyed talking to her and admire her courage and wonderful spirit. Her eyes lit up talking about her family who she held close to her heart. She will be greatly missed but her spirit will be watching over you all smiling. When Carol talked about the summer coming up it reminds me of this quote.
Living Your Life - And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years - (Abraham Lincoln).

I will not forget your kindness to me in driving me to church regularly all those years ago. I think of those little things now, and my heart is with you guys. Praying for you. -Dan

Talking with Aunt Carol when she visited Ontario in her last months truly showed the amazing faith she had in Jesus. She was so inspiring and uplifting. She will be missed. Our prayers go out to all the family through this.

Carol worked with me at Foothills Hospital and we stayed in touch for a few years after she left. She taught me that I need to be closer to God and I thank her for that. Know that she is now with our Lord and what a great place to be. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
