Charles James (Chuck) Ogle February 3, 1933 - February 2, 2013 Chuck Ogle passed away suddenly at Stranraer Saskatchewan on Saturday February 2nd, one day short of his 80th birthday. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Joan (nee Chynoweth), in August 2008 and happily has been reunited. He was also predeceased by his grandson Sam in July 1988. He is survived by one sister, Marguerite Stevens of Qualicum Beach B.C., several brothers- and sisters-in-law, and his three children: Kelly (Barbie) Ogle, Shannon (Rick) Barclay and Sheila (Trevor) Anderson along with seven grandchildren: Christy (Rick) Yearwood, Joey Ogle, Brennan (Kelli) Barclay, Joshua (Jen) Barclay, Caty (Justin) Barclay, Jonathan (Emily) Anderson and Justine Anderson. Chuck also had one great-grandchild, Emma and two step great-grandchildren, Ben and Brooklyn. Chuck was a great guy and he had a great life. He and Joan circled the globe. They lived in Coleville Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Calgary, Parksville B.C. and wintered in Sun Lakes Arizona. For thirty years he smoked four decks a day of Buckingham Plain and he liked CC and J&B Rare, right to the end. He retired at 50, went back to work as an oilfield construction and completions specialist from 60 to 70 and died at the farm, alone but content. As per his request there will not be a Memorial service, rather a true Irish Wake on May 11th, 2013 in Calgary; details to follow closer to the date. If people so desire, donations to the Heart and Stroke Fund are greatly appreciated.
