MEYER, Christopher
It is with our deepest sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, CHRISTOPHER MEYER, in a tragic motorcycle accident at 38 years of age. His free spirit, compassionate heart and genuine warmth felt by his many friends and family will sorely be missed. Sadly, he leaves behind his beloved mom and dad, Veronica and Kevin Meyer, yet with many happy memories of great times spent at family bike runs all over Canada and the U.S. and endless stories and laughs with family and friends around the fire pit. Some of the many past-times Chris loved were enjoying nature, photography, travel, playing pool and guitar, but above all riding his motorcycle was his passion. He was a graduate of Father Lacombe High Class of '92 and went on to study at S.A.I.T. to become a Process Piping Designer. Christopher was employed at D.P.H. Focus where he quickly became a respected and well liked Senior Piping Designer. Christopher leaves behind so many beloved friends and family, aunties: Terry, Pat, Cindy, Gerry, Terry, Mazar, Colleen and Lidija, uncles: Gary, Javier, Jack and Roger, Grandad Ruben Luettecke and cousins Rory, Stephanie, Lauren, Adrian, Dawn, Diane, Tracy, Diane, Michael, David, April, Lisa Skyla, Jessica, Mikayla, and Austin and the youngest member of the family, Ruby Stothard of England. His charming calm and intellectual nature was one that was easily recognized by his many friends and family at home and abroad in Chile and England. Please join us in celebrating his life at the Crossroads Community Center, 1803 - 14 Avenue N.E., Calgary, on Monday, May 20, 2013, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Chris' favorite charities, Alberta Children's Hospital and The Alzheimer's Foundation.
