VLAHOS, Constantin (Gus)
January 15, 1920 - January 17, 2013
Lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 60 years, Helen; his three children, Kathy Vlahos-Makridis and Costas Makridis, Stam James Vlahos, Yolanda Tkachyk; three grandchildren, Denise and Daniel Collins, Ashley Tkachyk, Constantine Vlahos; his two precious great-grandchildren, Jake and Ayla Collins; and his many nieces and nephews in Canada, Greece and around the world. You fought your battle like a tiger, but you still left us. You will forever be in our hearts and in our minds. Bon voyage on your final journey, our beloved. (Kalo taxidi agapimene mas). A Prayer Service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 1 Tamarac Crescent S.W., Calgary on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Interment to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to A.L.S. Society, 250, 4723 - 1 Street S.W., Calgary, AB, T2G 4Y8. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.myalternatives.ca.
