KEATING, Deenie (nee GORENKO)
July 26, 1950 - May 31, 2012
It is with great sadness that the family of Deenie Gorenko Keating announces her passing on May 31, 2012. In her final days with us, she was surrounded by many loving friends, colleagues and family members who provided comfort and support. She will be dearly missed, but her love and influence on those she touched will live on forever. Deenie is survived by her loving mother, Anne Gorenko of Canora, Saskatchewan; her sister, Gail (Dale) Kossowan of Sherwood Park; niece Karin (Joel) Amyotte of Sherwood Park; and nephew Aaron (Megan) Kossowan of Calgary. She will also be missed by her partner, Lee Keating, of Calgary. She is predeceased by her father, John Gorenko. Our thanks to the doctors and nursing staff of the Foothills Hospital on Unit 36 for their care and kindness. A celebration of Deenie's life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012 at Louise Dean School, 120 - 23 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 2P1.
