Donald (Don) Connolly, father, grandfather and friend, passed away in Calgary on March 23, 2013 at the age of 78 years with his son and beloved friend Evelyn at his side in the Rockyview Hospital. Don was born in Grimsby, England on August 19, 1934 and on March 2, 1941 he and his family immigrated to Canada to reside in Calgary. During his youth he lived in Winnipeg, Montreal, Knob Lake, Toronto, and Great Whale River and in 1964 he finally settled back in Calgary. His career highlights have been with the CPR, Mumford Medland, Mandem, CNG, Nova, and finally TransCanada Pipeline. During his past 20 years of life he has been splitting time in Dallas, Texas with his surviving son, Ken and his wife Tracey and his two grandchildren Tiffany (15) and Payton (13). He is survived by his brothers, Harry, Ted, Bruce and his sister Dorothy. His passion was the Navel Museum in Calgary which he loved as much as he loved being in Texas with his family.
