Donald Fredrick (Fred) Fraser

October 29, 1962 - October 10, 2017

Fred passed away after a long struggle with cancer.

Fred is survived by his wife, Marg, children Graham and Shannon, and Sister Darcy (Ed). He leaves behind a world made brighter by every person that remembers his smile, sagely advice, quick humor, deep rolling laughter, and helping hands.

Fred was a long-time member of the YYC Airport community, working for Hudson General, Air Canada, and ATS in many capacities before pursuing a career in the Oil and Gas industry with AECOM.

Fred's passion was always for his family. His favourite place on this earth was the lake house for fishing, friends, and an ice-cold drink in the shade. Thank you to the Woodcock family for sharing this wonderful place with us. He also loved to tinker in the garage, working on his Jeep "BlackCloud" or anything with wheels and a motor.

Fred was always the man who could put a smile on your face. Even gone, his smile will live on in each and every heart he touched. He shared his passions with those closest to him. He will forever be remembered as the man to lend a hand whenever he could.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to the Alberta Cancer Foundation for colorectal cancer research.

Fred has asked for a private family ceremony.
