Our loving mom, Doris Marchbank passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the age of 76 years. Doris was born in Jolly Town Nova Scotia and resided there until she was eighteen years of age when she moved to Calgary. Jack and Doris were married in 1956 and traveled extensively all over the world. She loved to go on cruises
and continued to do so for as long as her health would allow. Doris worked for AGT and then worked as a floral designer. The highlight of her career was designing the flower arrangements for the 1988 Olympics. She was very creative and loved to do the flower arrangements for all her children and grandchildren's weddings. Doris loved to spend time with her family and friends and will be sadly missed by all. Doris will be missed by her loving husband of fifty-six years Jack; her three sons and their families, Darrell (Jackie) and their children, Victoria (Ivan) and Ali (Tom); Stephen (Susan) and their children Mack (Carlee) and Brian (Candi) and their children, Doris's great-grandchildren, Rachel, Dyllan, and Lucas; and Greg (Dana) and their children Melissa, Brandon, Tanner and Logan. A Viewing will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, January 4, 2012 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.)
