REPP, Edward "Eddie" August

Edward "Eddie" August Repp of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013 at the age of 91 years. Edward was born in Iddesleigh, AB on August 8, 1921. He adored his beloved wife Edith. He loved his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and life dearly. Eddie enjoyed the outdoors, and was a member of the Thorncliffe Greenview Seniors Club. He and his wife Edith were avid baseball fans who loved cheering for the Toronto Blue Jays, Calgary Cannons, and especially cheering for his grandchildren in Little League. Edward is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Garry and Maryse Repp of Mississauga, ON and Grant and Linda Repp of Calgary, AB; a daughter and son-in-law, Coreen and Joe Donnici of Calgary, AB; six grandchildren, Aric, Adria, Doug (Julie), Mike (Sherry), Krista (Tyler), and Paul; and two great-grandsons, Jack and Parker. He is also survived by his siblings, Phyllis, Doris, Bill, Gladys, Allan, Marjorie, and Donna. Edward was predeceased by his beloved wife Edith; three sisters; and one brother. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) today, February 21, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. A Celebration of Eddie's Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway's Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Queen's Park Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of the donor's choice. Thank you to the Rockyview General Hospital for their care and special thanks to the DAL Unit at the Rocky Ridge Seniors Residence for their excellent care. In living memory of Edward Repp, a tree will be planted at Big Hill Springs Park, Cochrane.
