February 27, 1928 - January 31, 2013
Elizabeth Kontros, beloved wife of Nick of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the age of 84 years. She was born on February 27, 1928 in Bajany, Czechoslovakia. She married her life partner, her loving husband Nick on September 22, 1951 in Coleman, AB at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Together they had two daughters. She enjoyed travelling, camping and being with her family and friends. She treasured her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Besides her loving husband Nick, Elizabeth is survived by her daughters Doreen (Don) Kleisinger and Anne (Frank) Karas; grandchildren, Tracy (Clinton), Kevin (Shannon), Shelby and Bradley; and great- grandchildren, Emma, Kayla, Blake and Jager. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, one sister, and her granddaughter Tracy Work.
