ZIEHR, Hannelore
February 22, 1927 - January 18, 2013
It is with great sadness that the family of Hannelore announces her passing after a brief illness. Hannelore will be remembered by her loving family, her sons, Norbert (Margaret) and Bernhard (Karen) and their families; her sister, Herta; and many other relatives and friends. Hannelore was predeceased by her husband, Johann; her son Clarke; and her sister Ilse. Hannelore was born in Berlin, Germany, immigrating to Canada with her husband and two of her children in 1952. They began farming in the Strathmore area in 1958 where they remained until retiring in Calgary. Hannelore was a founding member of St. Boniface Parish in Calgary and was very active with the church community. She took great pride in her children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at St. Boniface Church (1923 Broadview Road N.W.), on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Boniface Church (1923 Broadview Road N.W.) on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery.
