KOTERA, Jan (John)
February 20, 1946 - December 7, 2012
John Kotera passed away suddenly on December 7, 2012 at the Glencoe Club, where he was a long-time active member, John was born in Prague, Czech Republic and at 19 escaped the oppression of the communist regime of the time. His new home became Canada and during his working years he travelled the world in the construction industry. John was an avid horseman and sportsman. Cycling, running and tennis were his passions. He was a true gentleman and will be greatly missed by his many friends. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In living memory of John Kotera, a tree will be planted in Fish Creek Provincial Park.
