Family and friends mourn the passing of Ken - husband, father, grandpa, and pal. Ken flew P-38's during the war and never lost his love of flying. On his 90th birthday Ken and his wife Stella were in Phoenix, Arizona. His daughter-in-law, Cynthia Feneley arranged a special surprise – Ken flew again for the first time in years out of Falcon Field. He was thrilled to put his hands on the controls once more. When it came time to pay, the owner said it was on the house, "we appreciate people like him and their role in our history." A short Memorial Service will be held at the Calgary Legion 285 (9202 Horton Road S.W.) at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2013.
