She was predeceased by her husband James Glen Anderson. Norma was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the youngest of four children, and lived there for her first forty years before moving with her husband Jim to Calgary. Both Norma and Jim were founding members of Pleasant Heights United Church where they belonged to the Couples Club and where Norma was an active member of the choir and the UCW. For many years Norma joyfully taught community kindergarten. Later she became active with the IODE and happily worked in the Thrift Shop and knitted countless baby outfits and did much baking for the annual tea and bazaar. In their senior years both Norma and Jim participated fully in the activities and committees at Confederation Park Senior Citizens Centre. A highlight in her life was the years spent in the Cambrian Heights Ladies Bridge Club. Her family will always remember that she made the best shortbread ever. Gratitude is expressed to the wonderful staff at Rockyview Emergency and in Unit 47. Thanks also to the very caring folks at Southwood Care Centre, Parkland Unit - especially Deborah and the late Dianne Martin.
