Otto Vogt of Calgary passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the age of 87 years. Otto was a passionate man, loving his family, the outdoors, fishing, hunting, skiing and gardening. He was predeceased by his loving wife Rosmarie, a son-in-law, and infant grandchild. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Marietheres (Alex) Vogt, Henriette (Josef) Bojes, and Kathryn (Markus) Hindemith; and eight grandchildren, Oliver (Veronika), Annette (Stephen), Christopher, Michaela, Miriam (Steven), Nicolas, Nadine, and Alexia. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Boniface German Catholic Church (1923 Broadview Road N.W.) on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Boniface German Catholic Church (1923 Broadview Road N.W.) on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery. We would like to thank Dr. Rick Ward for his dedicated care, the Edgemont Retirement Centre, and the staff of Unit 81 at Foothills Medical Centre. Also, gratitude to the family friends, relatives, and caregivers who guided Otto and family through all his losses during his failing health. In living memory of Otto Vogt, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
