PARRISH, Patricia (Pat) Josephine
December 9, 1946 - December 16, 2012
Patricia (Pat) Josephine Parrish of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the age of 66 years. Pat was a loving mother, devoted wife as well as a strong, kind-hearted, romantic at heart who loved the outdoors. From the grassy plains to the forested mountains, she was a true woman of the west. Over the years she enjoyed camping, snowmobiling and soaking up the sun at the beautiful Shuswap Lake with friends and family. Pat was a great mother who never let her children want for anything. Pat loved all the kids from the neighbourhood as if they were her own, and they were always welcome for anything, from dinner, a place to stay or to come along on a family vacation. Pat touched many lives over the years and will be sorely missed but will live on in our hearts and minds forever. Pat is survived by her children, Susan Cindric, Jared Parrish and Tyler Parrish; three grandchildren, Stephen, Mitchell and Michael; sisters Sandy and Barbie; two nieces Cheryl and Lorri; three nephews, Dan (Gordon), Steve and James; as well as many other nieces and nephews across Canada; her father-in-law Earl Miller; and her extended family and many friends. Pat was predeceased by her husband Keith (Max) Parrish; father Fredrick Hughson; mother Sarah Mae Wiltshire; brother Roy Wiltshire; brother-in-law Dan Adam; mother-in-law Joyce Miller; as well as her grandma Garland. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
