Phil Johnson November 28, 1931 - February 4, 2013 With great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Phil Johnson of Calgary at the age of 81 years. Phil left a huge family that loved him dearly; childhood sweetheart and lifelong love Mary Ann (nee Riddell), daughters Karen (Paul) and Linda (Ron), sons Norm (Margaret), Ken (Anita), and Tony; 10 grandkids, Carley, Tara, Adam, Alex, Nick, Virginia, Alanna, Kaitlyn, Carey, and Tyler; and 5 great-grandkids, Kyra, Sam, Ashley, Ruby and Ginger. Phil is survived by 3 sisters; Lila (Bob), Lorraine (Johnny) and Connie (Jim) and was pre-deceased by his brother Lloyd. Phil was a family man, a salesman, a businessman, a good neighbor, a pool player, a terrible cook..... With a strong sense of right and wrong, Phil was a man of opinions and was sharp until the very end. In his later years, he gave his time to a local charity. Phil lived a long life and left a legacy of love and strength in character that has touched many and will continue to serve our family for years to come. Donations can be made, in his honor, to Meals on Wheels.
