Surrounded by the love of family and friends, Quintin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the Peter Lougheed Centre. He was 81 years old. Quintin lived a full and meaningful life and will continue to live in our quiet remembering and celebration of what he meant to all of us. Quintin will be greatly missed by many, especially his wife of 60 years, Azucena (Nita) Colet Antonio; children: Elizabeth (Tony), Marichu (Cesar), Eileen (Dave), Mike (Nelia), Selina Isabel (Jun), and Mary Ann; grandchildren: Katrina (Craig), Sarah (Steven), Faustino (Melissa), Lorena (Peter), Rica, Minnella, Paolo and fiancée Madie, Angela and fiancé Aames and Samuel; great- grandchildren: Camden, Nicholas, and Mila. Quintin was born in Tuguegarao, Cagayan, Philippines in 1930, one among nine children of Moises Antonio and Isabel Buted Antonio. Quintin was a retired auditor of the Philippine Commission on Audit before he immigrated to Canada in 1989 and was an active member of the Philippine Calgarian Association. Quintin's grandchildren will remember him for the hot chocolate and ice cream, Juicy Fruit gum, Oh Henry bars, jokes, his vast vocabulary, math quizzes and the love he constantly showered on them. Our family would like to thank relatives and friends for their prayers and support. Visitation will be on Friday, January 13 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with Prayers and Tribute at 6:30 p.m. at the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME.
