Dear Sheila and family: I was so saddened to learn of Roy's passing. What a truly wonderful man. I was privileged to have worked with him early in my career when he was an MLA for Olds-Didsbury. His caring and compassionate manner meant so much to me, and over the years I have often thought of both you, Sheila, and Roy. From time to time, we were able to reconnect (when Roy was the Chair of the School Board and I was Executive Assistant to the Minister of Education, Hon. Zwozdesky). I will treasure those brief opportunities forever. May he rest in peace. God bless you, Sheila, and your entire family.

Mr. Brassard made the world a brighter and kinder place to be. My heart is with you all; I can only imagine how, in the warmth of his legacy, you are taking care of each other in this time of great sadness. He was a jewel, one of my favorite people, and I'll never forget him. My love to you all, Marianne

Dear Brassard family
I was so sorry to hear that one of the last links to my Dad has gone. I remember how wonderful it was to see more Brassards. I also remember going to school with Alison for a little while at St Michael's in Caglary. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.

Sheila, Alison, and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Roy (I can't help but say Mr. Brassard) was a wonderful role model for me as I was growing up. I have very fond memories of spending time with you that will never be forgotten. You were so kind to us during the loss of our father, that my heart breaks that I won't be able to attend the service. Please know that I am thinking of you.
Kindest regards,
