Ross was called home to be with his Lord on Monday, January 28, 2013 at the age of 87 years. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Marlene; sons: Brian (Penny), Randy (Nona); his nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He will also be lovingly remembered by his brothers: Albert (Shirley), Percy (Julie), Ivan (Linda), Dennis (Sandra) and many extended family and friends. He was predeceased by three brothers and four sisters. After two years of service in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII, Ross embarked on a life-long career in agricultural sales and service. His lifetime passions were centered around his faith, his family, flying his own plane and always fixing things. He also enjoyed reciting poems at many special functions. A Celebration of his life will be held at Grace Baptist Church (2670 Radcliffe Drive S.E., Calgary, T2A 7M2) on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations in Ross' honour may be made directly to Grace Baptist Church (Moving Ahead Fund).
