WINDER, Frank Edward "Ted"
December 3, 1916 - January 6, 2013
Ted Winder, beloved husband of Mrs. Mildred Winder of Calgary, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at the age of 96 years. Besides his loving wife Mildred, Ted's memory will be treasured by his daughter Marlene; son-in-law Lyndon; granddaughters Tania and Hayley, as well as many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his son Matthew. Ted was born in Darlington, England and served in WWII. He met Mildred and they immigrated to Canada, where he worked and retired at Woodridge Mercury Lincoln. Ted was a very kind man who always had a smile for everyone. A Celebration of Ted's Life will be held at LEYDEN'S Chapel of Remembrance (corner of 17 Avenue and 2 Street S.W.) on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Private Interment will be held at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens at a later date.
