CHAMBERS _ Willetta Jean 1926 - 2005 Willetta Jean Chambers (Billie) of Calgary passed into the presence of her Lord on Friday, August 26, 2005 at the age of 79 years. Her godly example, faithful prayers and loving presence will leave a void in the lives of her daughter Sharon (Marty) of Colorado; sons, Vernon (Carolynne), Bill (Hildegarde) and Martin (Margaret) of Calgary and area; her seven grandchildren, and her many dear friends. All who met Billie were impacted by her faith in Christ, which radiated through her cheerful disposition and smile. Born on May 10, 1926 to Agnes and Vernon Emigh of Burgessville, Ontario, Billie is survived by her sisters, Blanche Porchak (Carl) and Beverley Buchan (Bob Clyne) of Ontario. Billie's passion in life was to teach children about Jesus. She was a beloved Sunday School and Daily Vacation Bible School teacher for decades, worked tirelessly on behalf of the Every Home for Christ organization, and corresponded with thousands of children through the Child Evangelism and David & Jonathan ministries. She had a heart for missions and supported Overseas Missionary Fellowship. Billie's life reflected her belief that we have, "Only one life, will soon be past. Only what's done for Christ will last."
