It is with sad and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Olly Victoria Goat at the age of 93 at the Colonel Belcher Carewest. Olly leaves behind her daughter Barbara; her two grandsons, Taylor and Brandon. Her Daughter Christine and her husband Kevin, Grandson's Kyle and Tanner and Granddaughter Erin, And her niece Gail Ewan. She was predeceased by her children's father, Andrew Wallace Johnson and their son Wayne Andrew Johnson. She was also predeceased by her second husband Lorne T. Goat. Olly was a very warm and social woman and had many wonderful friends who she came to know and love in the Watergrove Community. Olly was a Veteran and served as a WREN in WWII. She was stationed in London England. After the war she married and started her family, living first in Montreal, then Toronto and then back to Montreal again. After the passing of her husband, she was reunited with a long time friend, Lorne Goat, moved to Calgary Alberta and was remarried, extending the family with Lorne's children, Jim, Ken and Barbara and their eight grandsons. She has made Calgary her home since 2009. Olly will be greatly missed and always fondly remembered by all that knew her. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on August 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of Olly Goat a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
