FONTAINE, Ethel Jane (nee Adam)
November 10, 1939 – Didsbury, AB
August 18, 2014 – Calgary, AB
Ethel Jane Fontaine passed away on August 18, 2014 at the age of 74 years. Ethel made Calgary her home with her husband whom she married on May 13, 1957. She loved to vacation in Victoria, B.C. but had the best vacation ever when she went on a cruise to Alaska. Ethel was passionate about family, crafts, music and the Globalfest Fireworks. Ethel is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Glenn) Haras of Calgary and Sandra (William) Duggan of Fort McMurray; grandchildren, Jason Podolski, Kris Podolski, Tyler Duggan and Robyn Duggan; and great- grandchildren, Jesse and Samantha Podolski. She is also survived by Alice (Pete) Bergen of Calgary, Robert (Fay) Adam of Calgary, Jean (Grant) Noonan of Grande Prairie, Marion (Marvin) Baumgardt of Huxley and James (Judy) Adam of Innisfail. Ethel was predeceased by her loving husband Sylvio Fontaine. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of Ethel Fontaine, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
