Filomena Ranieri

RANIERI _ Filomena 1912 - 2005 Filomena Ranieri was peacefully reunited with her beloved husband Giuseppe, and her much loved granddaughter Lia Cioffi on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at the age of 92 years. An accomplished seamstress, Filomena immigrated to Calgary from Terzigno, Italy in 1960. Along with her husband Giuseppe, they raised their two daughters. A proud grandmother and great-grandmother, Filomena was a blessing to every life she touched and will be sadly missed. Filomena is survived by her two loving daughters, Carmela (Giovanni) Cioffi and Angie Snider; a stepdaughter Lucia (Pasquale) Filzi; and a stepsister, Lisetta Parisi. She was blessed by the love of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Angela (Jeff) Ceili and Chloe Minten, Francesco (Rhonda), and Alexis Cioffi, and Amanda Snider. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, Vittoria (Felice) Cioffi and Tina (Domenico) Ranieri, their families and numerous other nieces and nephews in Italy. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 - 14 Avenue N.E.) on Monday, June 13, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Emanuel Buttigieg, Presider.
