ALDRIDGE, Carol Ann
October 10, 1955 - August 5, 2011
Carol Aldridge of Calgary passed away on Friday, August 5, 2011 at the age of 55 years. Carol was born in Letchworth, England to Norm and Pam Williams. Carol resided in Calgary for most of her life. She used her love of numbers to work in the payroll department of Greyhound Bus Lines and the Salvation Army for many years. The size of Carol's heart and the depth of her caring made her a cherished part of every life she touched. Her sharp wit and sense of humour brought laughter to every occasion. Carol is survived by her partner Max Webster; his daughters Amanda and Brittnay, her sisters Susan (Denny) Pearson, Alison (John) Gaston, as well as her nieces and nephews, Norman, Lisa, Krissa, Lee, Thomas, Devon and James, and was a great-aunt to Damon, Brett and Claire. She is also survived by many dear friends. Carol was predeceased by her parents Norm and Pam Williams, and her younger sister Terri. A Celebration of Carol's Life will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at LEYDEN'S FUNERAL HOME (corner of 17 Avenue and 2 Street S.W., Calgary, AB). In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, Suite 1500, 2235 Sheppard Avenue East, Toronto, Ontario M2J 5B5.
